This custom bench was designed by Jorge Gomez and crafted by Formhaus for a private residence in Southampton, New York. Made from solid white oak, it showcases a minimalist architectural form with interlocking vertical and horizontal planes that emphasize the natural grain and texture of the wood. The design balances strength and simplicity, integrating seamlessly into the client’s refined interior. Finished with a matte, natural-toned sealant, the piece highlights the craftsmanship and material quality that define the Formhaus aesthetic — understated, precise, and built to last.
Waterfall Walnut Desk — Custom Carved Drawer Fronts
This custom Formhaus desk was designed for a private residence in Garden City, New York, combining modern geometry with handcrafted detail. This custom outdoor table built by Formhaus for a client in Southampton, NY. The piece features a solid white oak base with intersecting panels that form a sculptural foundation, supporting a precision-cut round aluminum top (provided by bestcase.co) finished for outdoor durability.
The contrast between the warm, natural oak grain and the cool, metallic surface gives the piece a refined architectural balance, seamlessly fitting into the home’s contemporary outdoor setting. Designed in collaboration with Kiro Design and crafted by Formhaus, this custom white oak butcher block coffee table was created for the Skylark Rooftop Bar in New York City. The table features a sculpted silhouette with clean architectural geometry — a thick, angled-edge top resting on intersecting white oak panel legs that echo the material palette of the surrounding space.
