Questions
- Do you do sink cutouts?
- Yes — place the cutout right on the drawing: drag it into position or type the size and center offsets, priced per cutout. Prefer to leave it to us? Attach the sink’s spec sheet and the shop details it. Either way, edge-distance rules are verified by the shop before anything is cut.
- End grain, edge grain, or face grain?
- End grain shows the block faces up — the classic butcher block, and it runs up to 6 inches thick. Edge grain runs boards on edge for a tighter, calmer line. Face grain wide board shows the widest figure. All three price live in the configurator.
- Can counters wrap a corner?
- Yes — turn on Mitered corner in the configurator, pick the side, and set the return length. The drawing and the price update live, and the shop details the 45° joint.
- Can you stain it to match?
- The standard finish lets the species be the color — choose along the tone spectrum from Hard Maple to Macassar Ebony, sealed in our UV-cured protective coating: a zero-VOC hardwax oil cured solid under LED-UV light, with no maintenance regimen to keep. Finishing it yourself? Choose Unfinished in the configurator and it ships sanded, bare. If your project needs a stain match, we can do that as a custom request — send the target through the custom path and the shop will quote it.
- How fast can I get it?
- Lead time is an estimate, currently 3–4 weeks, published in the header of every page. The shop confirms the schedule with your order.
- Can I share a configuration?
- Every configuration serializes into its URL. Send the link — your client or GC opens exactly what you built, priced.
