The finish · standard on every piece
The protective coating.
One finish, standard on everything we build: a zero-VOC hardwax oil that cures solid under LED-UV light in seconds. It soaks into the pore instead of filming over it — the wood reads deeper, not coated — and it is built for surfaces that work for a living.
| Base | HARDWAX OIL — OILS, WAXES, RESINS |
|---|---|
| VOC | NONE · LAB-VERIFIED |
| Solids | 100% — NOTHING EVAPORATES OFF |
| Cure | LED-UV LIGHT · SETS IN SECONDS |
| Maintenance | NO REGIMEN — CLEAN IT AND USE IT |
| Repair | IN PLACE — BUFF, RE-OIL, RE-CURE |
Made to take a beating.
The coating system we run is rated for commercial floors — surfaces that get walked on all day. On a tabletop or counter it is working well inside its limits: highly wear-resistant, spill-repellent, and honest about use. Liquids bead and wipe instead of soaking in; keys and plates meet a surface engineered for foot traffic. And where a film finish dulls with age, this one deepens — the color grows richer with use.
Cured by light, not by waiting.
The oil stays workable until it meets LED-UV light — then it sets solid in seconds. We buff it into the grain, cure it under the lamp, and crate a piece that is at full hardness before it leaves the shop. No weeks of air-curing, no soft finish on installation day, no smell: zero VOC means nothing evaporates off into the room.
The same physics makes repair almost unfair: a scar buffs out, the spot re-oils, the lamp passes over it, and the surface is back in service the same hour — in place, without stripping the top.
No maintenance. A cleaning habit.
There is no regimen — no re-oiling calendar, no waxing, no annual recoat. What the coating asks for is gentler cleaning than the internet's worst advice:
- DAMP CLOTH AND A DROP OF MILD SOAP — THAT IS THE ROUTINE.
- WIPE STANDING WATER WHEN YOU SEE IT, ESPECIALLY AROUND SINKS.
- NO HARSH CHEMICALS: SKIP BLEACH, AMMONIA, AND SOLVENT OR CITRUS CLEANERS.
- NO ABRASIVE PADS OR SCOURING POWDERS — THEY CUT THE COATING, NOT THE DIRT.
On-site cure · rent the lamp.
Because the coating cures under LED-UV light, field work is fast: site repairs, post-install touch-ups, and refreshes cure in seconds instead of closing a room for days. Installers and trade accounts — ask us about renting an LED-UV lamp with your order.

Common questions
How do I clean it?
A damp cloth and mild soap. Wipe standing water rather than letting it sit, and keep harsh chemicals off it — no bleach, ammonia, abrasive pads, or solvent cleaners. That is the entire routine.
Does it need maintenance?
No regimen — no re-oiling schedule, no waxing, no annual recoat. Clean it and use it. If a spot ever wears or scars years in, it repairs in place instead of being stripped.
What does UV-cured mean?
The coating stays workable until it meets LED-UV light, then sets solid in seconds. Every piece is cured in the shop before crating, so it arrives at full hardness — no weeks of air-cure, no soft finish on delivery day.
Can it be repaired?
In place. Scars buff out, a worn zone re-oils locally and cures under the lamp in seconds — no stripping, no refinishing the whole top. Trade accounts and installers can ask us about renting an LED-UV lamp for on-site work.
