Ordering Tables for a Restaurant Opening, Without the Chaos

A restaurant opening orders tables the way it orders everything: late, in volume, and with three people who all need to see the same specification. The failure mode is ambiguity — the quote PDF, the email thread, the 'same as the last ones but longer.' The fix is making the specification itself the shared object.

Every configuration is a URL

Set a top once — species, size, construction, edge, finish — and the address bar holds the whole specification. Send that URL to the designer, the GC, and the owner: each of them opens the identical live configuration with the identical price. Twenty two-tops and four four-tops is two URLs, not a spreadsheet.

The spec sheet is the contract

Every configuration prints to a one-page spec sheet — dimensioned drawing, edge section, full specification, live price, and the reopen link. Order twenty tops and the shop builds from the same documents your team approved; there is no translation step where errors live.

Trade terms for hospitality volume

Trade accounts see their discount applied live while configuring, order material samples free, and track every order — awaiting lumber, in manufacturing, shipped — from their own portal. Very large projects can run on staged payments, and the lead time on every spec sheet is the published estimate, not a guess.

Delivery is in the price

Shipping is free on every form — white-glove across Long Island, the Hamptons, NYC metro, and Connecticut, crated freight nationwide — so the number you approve is the number.
